Crazy Day

It was so hectic at my doctor's appointment today. I went in this morning for a regular appointment and didn't get finished until 130 this afternoon. I told my doctor that I had noticed a decrease in Blake's movements the past few days, which I will go ahead and ease your mind that it's more than likely b/c he has ZERO room in my tummy. But she, my doctor, wanted me to get an ultrasound done this morning to check everything out. Well what they did was do one for 30 minutes and all the tech was doing was just watching for movement. He didn't move AT ALL. Of course, when finished we were all concerned. But my doc told me to go get some lunch first then to come back at 1 for another ultrasound. So I called Matt and picked him up, his truck is in the shop right now, and we went to lunch then back to the doctor's for the second ultrasound. He came with me b/c they said that if the second one turned out like the first then I would be admitted and monitored for a few hours.

Well the little stinker was just fine. He started moving and the tech said that he is just cramped and that is more than likely the reason for the movements not happening as often as they were. Everything looked good and his heart sounded good and strong. :) It was a little scary though. I am still a centimeter dilated and nothing else has changed. Just going to hold out, I guess, until my mom gets here next week.

After everything, I dropped Matt back off at work then picked B up from daycare. We played outside once we got home and I tried to get her in the sprinkler since it was warm out. She was a little hesitant but she had fun. She splashed around in the puddles in the grass. Once she was bored with that we came inside to get some snacks and this is the BEST part. She put on mommy's Jessica Simpson heels and tried to walk in them. Proud moment for momma. LOL I've taught her well. :)

♥ Struttin' her stuff ♥

I only wanted to post one of these since she doesn't have any clothes on and you never know who is checkin' out your profile. There are a lot of crazy people out there now-a-days. I will put more on Facebook since that has privacy. I just wanted the family that doesn't have FB to be able to at least see one. But isn't this just the cutest?! We love shoes!!
I captured these a few days ago of Matt and her. All I can say is PRICELESS! I also think she's going to be really musically talented too. :)

She loves to stand on our feet and walk. It's so much fun!

Teachin' her how to strum. (Yes, he is chewing on a flosser thing..lol)

I absolutely adore this one. Don't you just love Matt's proud grin?

Stuuuuummmmm..I think I got this now Daddy

Well after my hectic day of running around, playing in the sprinkler and strutin' our stuff in heels, I am going to go relax. It's almost Miss B's bath/bed time. Have a great Thursday night!

Green Obsession

Lately I have been obsessed with doing a room green. I almost thought about doing Blake's room, but I have always wanted my little boy's room to be blue. Total cliche, I know, but that is what I've always wanted for my lil man. Anyway, I have been browsing and I want to redo my room. It's probably b/c of the "nesting" feeling I have been having lately, but I really want to do it. I was browsing today at bedspreads and found one I really like.

I think this might be a good project for me once I am at home with both kids. Matt even said he liked it too. It will just have to be a few items here and there every paycheck..."brick by brick my friend" (Quoted from "Seabiscuit" the movie...Yes, I am a nerd. Love my horse movies :)) I already have a bunch of ideas rolling around in my head. I need a project while at home, something that B can somehow help out with. Scrapbooking doesn't really works with all the paper and tools and stickers and such. She knows how to rip and tear and pull stuff apart so I can only do that when she's napping or in bed, and right now, when she's down, I'm down. So maybe this can be a good mother daughter project.

As Matt and I were discussing this, and other projects we'd like to do, we both realized that we have 2 weeks left. 2 WEEKS!! That's right around the corner. It's crazy. I can't believe that I am there basically. It feels like it's dragging but in reality, it's here. I'm just playing a waiting game now. I need to get my bag packed for the hospital since I don't know when we'll be going. I told my mom yesterday that if I haven't gone into labor by the day of my 39th week, I will be induced FOR SURE. We've got to just hang a few things in Blake's room and it will be be finished. I think I have my ideas for it pretty well laid out. I can't wait to post pictures. This weekend I need to buy the letters for his room and a couple of shelves.

Ok, well that is just one idea that is rolling around in my brain at the moment. I have created a folder on here so I don't forget them. Off to fold Blake's new clothes. :)

A week and a half???

Hoping...

Praying...

Fingers Crossed...

That this is all I have left of this pregnancy. I am once again writing a "whiny" blog. :) I feel so stretched out it's almost unbearable. I don't like eating small meals when something is so good. I am being a glutton. ;) My mom comes next Thursday so I am hoping I will go into labor that night. How perfect would that be?! I am hoping my stomach goes back to normal too b/c it feels so tight and stretched. I will give thanks and praise that surprisingly, I haven't gotten any stretch marks this pregnancy whereas with B, my butt looked like a zebra, lol, and I did get some on my thighs. This pregnancy I have been lucky enough that I don't think I have gotten any new ones. Just some of the old ones have popped back up, but my butt actually looks normal. With B, I widened up so much and with B2 he is ALL belly. So pray along with me for a week and half left of this.

We took B to the doctor this morning. She has an ear infection, but has been in better mood today. We have her on meds so I'm guessing in a couple of days she'll be almost 100% better and in a better mood. Matt is on a night flight and won't be home until later tonight.

I have some pictures on my camera that I need to download, but I am getting uncomfortable sitting here so I will get back on later to edit them then probably post them tomorrow. I am going to get up and go lay on the couch and watch some tv.

Just won't give it up

Bayleigh has been put to bed...already. As I stated earlier, she really didn't take a nap. Poor thing was just wandering around the house the past hour and a half. She is so afraid to miss something. Matt tried to lay with her in her room since he has done that before in the middle of the night and usually it works. NOPE. She was not about to go to sleep. About 40 min ago I gave her some Dimatapp (sp?). The child has just been fighting the inevitable all day. I gave her a bath and while she lethargically played with her bubbles, she was just out of it. Dressing her was like dressing a zombie. She was about to fall asleep as she was doing her half moan/half cry. I tried to rock her but as soon as I sat down with her she wanted down to play with her toys. Matt and I decided it was best to just put her in her crib and let her cry it out. Yeah, that lasted about 14.3 seconds until it was quiet. She is out now. Poor thing. I hope she just sleeps through the whole night b/c it will really help her body fight whatever is making her sick. Maybe this is normal with toddlers, but I have never seen one fight so much to stay awake.

I tried laying with her on the couch watching UNC play...nope

Matt tried a few times today rocking her...nope

He tried laying her on his chest...nope

I tried rocking her myself...nope

She will not give up, stubborn thing. I feel so bad for her. I will be up at 8 when the doctor's open and will be calling.

I will say that it is kind of nice to have her down really early and daylight out. Matt and I might eat outside since he was making chicken enchiladas for dinner while I took care of B. He's pretty awesome. :) Have a little more me and him time tonight. Off to eat our dinner and watch the basketball game. GO UNC TARHEELS!!! :)

Bums

This weekend has been a lazy weekend for us. Bayleigh has been sick since Friday, well it's gotten worse each day. We think she has a possible ear infection so we are going to make an appointment tomorrow with the pediatrician. She is coughing and has been kind of cranky. She wouldn't really sleep today for her nap. She is exhausted, but still in pretty good spirits. When I say she's cranky she's usually still sweet and funny Miss B, but she just gets upset easier with things and pitches a faster fit about them. But the amount of time she throws her fit is usually the same then she's on to something else. Right now she is behind me playing with her blocks. She's so smart. Matt said yesterday she took all the red 4 sided blocks and stacked them together and separated them from the rest. And she will separate each block before she puts it in the box. It amazes me every day the things she does and how intellectual she is. She's a thinker and tries so hard to say what you are trying to teach her. :)

Our house is still a mess...like I said, we are bums and have been lazy. The only room that is clean is Blake's room. LOL That's because it's all set up and the door is shut. Since B has been getting sick the past couple of days we have been up a few times during the night so Matt and I are pretty tired and just have no motivation. At least today we took the bags of clothes to Good Will today before we went to Wal-Mart. We had to get a couple of things and I had to get my prescription for Ambian filled. Oh I am so happy to have that again. However, I will probably just take half of one tonight b/c I don't want Matt to have to get up every time B does.

When I went to the doc Thursday I asked if I could be induced. Haha, jokes on me b/c she said I couldn't be induced until I was 39 weeks, which is really only about 2 1/2 more weeks yet that equals 14+ days. Oiy! Oh well. If he could come on the 7th or 8th since my mom will be here on the 7th, that would be absolutely perfect. So be ready around then, too, Dana...just in case. :) If I haven't gone into labor by my 39th week, I am def going to be induced. I am not waiting anymore. My patience has definitely been pushed to the max. Sometimes at night I wake up and want to punch my pillow and scream and cry b/c I am uncomfortable and can't get back to sleep for literally 4 hours. Like I've said before, I just want my little man out of me and here! I can deal with getting up to feed him b/c I know I"ll be able to get comfy and go right back to sleep after I'm done. OH, plus I want to be able to ride again. I went out to the barn yesterday with Sylia while she worked Joey and Sammy and I cannot tell you how bad the "itch" was to get on and ride as well. The smells and sounds out at the barn...I love it!

Speaking of horses, I have been eating like one lately. LOL I am going to go make some blueberry muffins b/c that is what I'm craving at the moment.

Like Mother, Like Daughter

Martina McBride has a new single out called "Teenage Daughters" and it's definitely going on my all-time favorites list. First off, I absolutely love Martina. I think she sings a lot of well written songs...ie In My Daughter's Eyes, another all-time fav, but she's one of the few singers who actually has a good reputation.

Second, this song speaks to me. The lyrics hit right at home. I know I gave my mom hell when I was a teenager and there are certain lines in this song that just make me think of the times with her when I thought she wasn't cool and it's so funny to look back on and realize I did some of those things that are said in the song. And yet, I'm sure Karma will come around with Miss B and be the same for me. My dad always jokes when Bayleigh throws a temper tantrum and says, "Oh, little Kathryn." Haha Anyway, I'll just let you listen. It's really good. I love it. Don't forget to pause the playlist at the bottom of my page.

Bathing Beauties

Trying to get some sun this past Sunday. Miss B thought she would join me...it lasted about 34 seconds then she was up running around.

 Man, it's bright out here!!

I just thought this was really pretty

 Optical illusion :)

 Thirsty, haha

 More bathing beauties LOL
Lovin' those rays...that's my Booooooooger

A Day at the Wildlife Park

Sunday we went to the wildlife park in Dickinson. We had so much fun and Bayleigh LOVED all the animals. We bought a bucket to feed them and she was so helpful with throwing out the food to them. :) They had a lot of neat animals there. She loved the goats at the petting area and even wanted to lay with them. She made sure she went around and showed every single goat some love....patting them and kissing them. It was so cute and funny. She even wanted to lay with the group of goats. Haha. She had so much fun that she couldn't even stay awake for lunch. So Matt and I enjoyed some mexican food while B napped in the booth with us.

Here are just some of the pictures. I am going to put the rest of them on FB later, but these are the cute ones I wanted to show off on here.

Headed off to the park :)
My little Fashionista Princess
Feeding the llamas, she was trying to pet them
PONY RIDES! Her favorite! She kept saying "Koda"
Fingers crossed to see something
Givin' kisses to the goat

Um, excuse me..can you move over some?
Fine, I'll just lay right here, you're pretty comfy
She was so friendly. I wanted to take her home with us

Rollin' in the Dough

So we made really good money today during our garage sale. Now we have plenty to go buy the rocker and changer/dresser we want for B2's room. Dana, Miss B, and I plan on shopping around today for a good, inexpensive one. We've got a couple of places to go and of course Wal-Mart. We are going to get B a pool with a slide on it b/c she loooooves to slide. Plus she has spent ALL morning outside either with us in the front or in the backyard with Grandma playing tea party with her baby doll. She absolutely loves being outside. Right now she is napping and since she has played hard this morning, I'm hoping she'll take a two hour nap. We'll see. She's already been asleep for 1 hour, so here's hoping she stay asleep for another. Dana and Rick have helped out so much at the house and I appreciate it so much. I hate that the past two times they've came it's been non-stop with stuff around the house to do, but it is so nice to have someone be able to watch B or help out with her at least so you can get projects done.

So a BIG THANK YOU RICK AND DANA! Matt and I really appreciate everything you have done! :)

Because of all this running around and accomplishing tasks, I have been exhausted. I just don't have the energy to do all this stuff by myself so it truly has been a wonderful blessing for Grandma and Grandpa to be here. I didn't take an Ambian last night b/c I figured I'd sleep really well without it. NOPE. I was up just about every 2 hours. SUCKED! Once again, I was uncomfortable. It's like when I lay down, it's like he moves up towards my stomach and makes that part of my body stretch out and expand. It's so annoying and uncomfortable. So I am constantly turning back and forth from side to side to get comfortable. I JUST WANT MY BODY BACK! I know I won't mind waking up with my little man b/c I will be back to my normal size (hopefully) and can fall back asleep once finished with him. Not much longer. I still can't believe I am almost done with this. It has just flown by. Matt and I were talking about what to do after we have him....the little contraption they put inside of me so I can't get pregnant for like 3 or 5 years, getting my tubes tied (which Matt said he didn't want me to do b/c it can be risky), or him getting a vasectomy. I think we may go for the contraption thingy (I know what it's called but there are so many brands out there that I am using my own term for it haha) for now, just in case we do decide to have another. But right now, with the way things have gone with this pregnancy, I don't think I want to go through this again. I am miserable and this is not getting over fast enough.

I think I am going to go take a power nap now. Matt and Rick are playing golf, of course :) and Dana just got out of the shower. Hope ya'll have a great rest of the weekend. I have pictures, just need to upload them and I'll do that later. OH, we found a lizard today and B was all about it. It was so cute. She was so mad when we had to let him go. Poor thing was probably so terrified, but Miss B just thought it was awesome. :)

Hmmm What To Do??

I am at work and although I had a lot of stuff to catch up on since I missed two days because of vacation, I've completed what needed to be done and done some other stuff on the side. Now I am sitting here...by myself waiting for 4 o'clock.

We got back from Pensacola Wednesday afternoon and then Matt's parents showed up about 2 hours later. We have accomplished a lot while they have been here with the house and B2's room. His room looks so cute. Since we have been decorating his room, I have been wanting to redo Bayleigh's room as well. I want to leave the pink and green but I saw an ADORABLE pink and zebra bedding set that I thought was just too cute. I've been wanting to update her room to more of a toddler room now since she is 19 months. WOW. It just amazes me how time flies. She is so smart. Both Grandma and Grandpa are amazed at how much she has learned since Christmas. She's a quick learner and such a busy body...doesn't want to miss a thing. She knows several words and is always trying to say what you are saying or do what you are doing. She is definitely the little helper too. It's so cute, yet sometimes she just isn't able to really help and gets in the way. She gets so frustrated when I have to move her aside and tell her to let mommy do it. But that is definitely a good sign that, most of the time, she'll want to be helping with her baby brother.

Speaking of baby brother and his room, I have 4 weeks. ANY DAY would be wonderful to me. I am so uncomfortable and just TIRED of being pregnant. He is getting bigger and I don't think my body has anymore room to grow for him. When we went to the doctor last week he was already 5 lbs 11 oz and that was at 35 weeks. I'm just hoping my mom can make it down before he is born and then as soon as she gets here I can go into labor. I had a horrible night last night I was so uncomfortable. I wanted to cry when I woke up. I am just so tired of being like this. I seriously want to ask my doctor if I can be induced on a certain day that deal with this anymore. UGH! I can't eat much and when I do I feel stretched beyond my limit. My back and hips have been aching a lot lately, probably to get ready for birth and of course, that has been annoying. Still can't breathe...OH and did I mention my allergies are acting up? Hmmm what else can I complain and whine about? LOL This sucks.

Please Lord, let him come early. I don't know how much more I can take of this. I want him out, here and healthy. Amen

On a another note, we got out entertainment furniture today and I can't wait to get home and see it. Matt said it looked really good with our other furniture. Yay! Well I am off to update some clients' policies.

Go, Go, Go

We arrived at Rachel and Drake's Saturday around lunch time. Since then it feels like we've been go go go. We always just try to take the vacation, but there are a bunch of people that we like to see when we are in town or places that we want to go to that we used to when Matt and I lived here. It's been a ton of fun and I'm glad to be spending time with good friends.

Pregnant Best Frans :)

...and their goofy husbands and kid. haha

Yesterday we went to my old church that I used to attend when my parents and I lived here and met up with a friend of mine, she's older and used to teach me Sunday school when I was in middle school, Ms. Trish. She is awesome and so much fun. We have a lot in common and since she has two boys, she considers me her daughter. :) Bayleigh made quite the impression at church in her Sunday dress. She was just the cutest and many of the members came up and we just awe-struck as to how cute and how blue her eyes were. She, of course, loved the attention. I'm so glad she's such a people person b/c it makes it so easy when out in public. Anyway, we also went to lunch with Ms. Trish then met up with Rachel and Drake out at the beach. Rachel even let me sport her new pregnancy bathing suit since I didn't have/bring a suit at all.

Trying to get a little bit of sun while here
35 weeks :)

Bayleigh had so much fun. She is definitely going to be a water baby. Despite how cold it was she was all about the water and running all over the place. She was SO CUTE in her new bathing suit that I bought her, along with her matching sandals, hat and of course, sunglasses. :) She even got a little tan on her sides and I put sunblock on her too.

My little beach bum

ewww Miss B (haha)

Today we got up and I got Rachel up early which she hates..haha What are best frans for? :) While Matt went and played golf this morning, Rachel, Bayleigh, the dogs, and I all went on a walk up to our old high school (since Ray lives right down the road from it) and let the dogs off the leash to run around some. Bayleigh saw the helicopters flying around and kept saying "Dada, Dada." (They are the ones that Matt trained in while he was attended flight school here. They are always flying over the school.) It brought back some good memories and makes me so proud every time I see them or the ones he flies now. :) We decided to head back after about 30 minutes and then waited on Matt to get back from his round of golf. We then headed to "The Shang" which is a chinese buffet that Matt and I always went to. We LOOOOVE it. Then we met up with Jen and Vivian at the park in my old neighborhood. Bayleigh and Vivian were so cute playing on the playground together. Bayleigh conked out on the way home and slept for a good hour or so. Rachel and I went to get pedicures then headed to the mall to see if I could find anything cute for my photoshoot tomorrow. I'm so excited about it.

I have pictures on my camera, but will load them when I get home. These are ones that Rachel has taken while we've been here. I am going to get off. Rachel is actually cooking for once so I need to soak this up while here. :) Later I will probably head to Target to see if I can find something cheap and cute for tomorrow's shoot.

It's Not a Trip Unless You're Sick

Aaahh-choo!!! Aaahh-choo!! AAhhh-aahhh-aahhh-CHOOOOOO!

This has been me today. Apparently it's becoming the norm for me when we get ready to travel. Of course, it's right before we go to Pensacola, which is Saturday. I mean, REALLY?! I am trying to look on the bright side to this and I believe it's allergies. I looked at the pollen count today and we are in a pollen alert for our area, meaning the pollen is very high right now. Just great. I bought some Zyrtec-D today and took one already, yet I have not had any relief. Here's hoping tomorrow morning when I take my other one this business of sneezing and a runny nose, literally dripping, will subside.

I went to the doctor today and everything is right on track with B2. We were able to see him today b/c we got an ultrasound and let me tell you he's adorable. Tehe, I think he looks like me, but shhhhh. ;) He was actually a little stinker and had his hands and feet up by his face so we couldn't get a good picture of him. We did get the top part on one and like a fourth of his face on another one. So we are trying to piece them together and use our imagination to get a better image of him. Doctor V said that I am already a finger dilated but still very thick. UGH. I was hoping for a little better news, but I'll take being dilated at least. Haha She also prescribed me some Ambian to help me sleep, which I am so thankful for. I am going to take half of one tonight since Matt isn't here because I want to make sure I'm not too conked out to hear Bayleigh if need be.

Well I am going to go drink water and bring along some tissues for my nose and watch trashy TV...ie Jersey Shore. Just one more day and I'll be at Rachel and Drake's. :)

Looooooong weekend

In short, I drove ALL day yesterday to drop the dogs off, got stuck in traffic on my way back for an hour, and didn't sleep very well last night.

Today I went for a walk in the morning with B and just THREE dogs, which was nice, but it put me in a bad mood b/c it made my back sore and hurt the rest of the day. On top of that I have had B to myself all day as well playing and running around and lifting her all day with a really sore back, on top of that, a basketball for a belly was really tough. UGH. I am exhausted and worn out. Yes, I am whining. I will say it again. I am so ready to be done with this pregnancy and have my little boy here and in my arms. I see people running and want to be out doing the same. Walking isn't enough for me. I want to feel like I am accomplishing something and leave all my stress "out on the field." I want to have more energy and patience with Bayleigh. This last month is AWFUL!!!! I am sick of this! UGH

TGIF

Yay for Friday!
I am at work right now and am tired, but I'm glad it's Friday. I'm still not sleeping well so I have been taking half a benadryl at night to help me sleep. Have I mentioned lately how READY I am to be done with this pregnancy?!?! It's really taking a toll on me now since I feel like I have a basketball sticking out in front. I can't bend over and it's getting hard lately to pick Miss B up or give her a bath or read to her before she goes to bed. It's been very uncomfortable for me lately and I am just DONE! AHHHHHhhhhhh!!!!

It's going to be a pretty busy couple of days for me the next few days. Matt is going on a short deployment until Tuesday. It will be me and Miss B all by ourselves. GIRL TIME!! :) With only one exception which will be tomorrow. I have to drive over to Baton Rouge to meet up with Keith whom I'm sending my dogs with. Gizmo is going to live with him and his family in NC (they are friends of my family so I know she's going to a good home) and Ace is going back with my parents until we move and get a bigger house and yard. Less stress on me with B2 coming, hopefully VERY soon. So I have to make that drive tomorrow which will be an all day thing. Sucks b/c I am going to have to put B in daycare. Matt doesn't have to be up to work until 830 am so he'll take her. I'm going to try and get on the road as soon as possible so I can get back and get Miss B. I hate to leave her in daycare all day, but I'm not going to put her through sitting in the car for 8-9 hours. So once that trip is over, it will be me and B.

Oh, I went to the cardiologist and they said everything is OK with my heart, so we are good on that. They did an EKG, an ultrasound of my heart and arteries, and I had to wear this 24 hr heart monitor thingy....twice....b/c the first one messed up and only recorded 6 hrs; that was kind of annoying. But like I said, my ticker is good. So now I am making an appointment today to have my moles checked out. They are getting annoying, itching a lot and one of the twin moles is starting to itch more frequently as well and is getting bigger. So I've gotten my referral faxed over to the doctor's office and now I just have have to make a call to schedule it. Hopefully everything is ok with that issue.

I guess I better get back to work. Hope you all have a great weekend!
