I'lllllll be hommmme for Christmas

Well I am up bright and early this morning. Bayleigh slept through the ENTIRE night. YAY!!! So I feel so rested. Here's hoping this can continue. You know, it's nice that she slept through the night, yet I'm still waking up wondering when she's about to get up. haha At the same time though, I feel like I got a decent night's sleep. I just wanted to write real quick. I'm having my morning coffee to wake up some more then gonna load up the truck so we can head to Pensacola, then on to NC for the holidays. I called my mom yesterday and told her we were packing. She' so excited to see Bayleigh. I just can't wait to get there. I'm so excited to show her off while in P'cola as well. I'm going to try to keep B awake until we leave. Hopefully I can that way she should sleep most of the way.

Matt and I watched the Hangover last night. HILARIOUS movie!! We saw it in the theaters and LOVED it so I bought the blue-ray yesterday. Ray, I know where the throw-up parts are so I'll warn you. I made sure to remember where they were. haha. You and Drake will love it!

Well, just wanted to update real quick. It will probably be a while before I can get on here again with all the pictures and such. B is talking for me. She's so funny. Have a great weekend and a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! xoxo

Santa came early!

So yesterday Matt and I decided to open our gifts from each other. He got me my golf club set...PINK golf clubs...I'm so excited to use them. I have an old set of Callaways..I know they are good clubs, but they really are OLD. So I was so excited to get the PINK set of clubs. :) He also got me the movie UP!, which was SO cute. Within the first 15 min I was crying. haha. Loved it. He also gave me a gift card to Sports Authority to buy whatever I wanted...sunglasses, golf clothes, shoes, whatever! So I can't wait to use it. He also gave me FIFA 2010 for PS3. I can't wait to play it. I haven't played a video game in so long. I used to be into Guitar Hero...like MAJORLY...but I was on expert and my freakin' PS2 erased all my progress, TWICE, so I was a little PO-ed and said forget it! We have Rock Band for Wii, which is pretty fun. I like the drums...gives me a better challenge with all the parts to keep up with since I've kinda mastered the guitar from Guitar Hero...hence playing the piano my whole life. So I can't wait to start the FIFA and see the graphics. The movie UP! was on Blue-Ray and the color and quality were OUTSTANDING. Matt and I were both so amazed. The colors were so bright that when they would do the previews of titles, they would burn into our TV. Not permanently but still...it was awesome.

Tonight we have the Christmas party. I will post pics of that tomorrow. Then Friday we are off to see Ray and Drake! Yay! I can't wait. Can't believe it's already here. Hope Miss B does well. I have so much to pack. I'm going to try to get it all together tomorrow that way Friday, Matt has a half day so he should be coming home around noon, he's leaving his truck and taking my car..that way I can load the truck up with the dog cages and luggage and when he gets home we can just leave. I am just so stoked...we'll be jammin' and rockin' the whole way. haha. Miss B likes to rock out! lol. No we wouldn't do that to her, but she does like the music in the car. OH, hopefully we'll be able to play some golf while in P'cola...cough cough..Rachel! Set up something for Sat or Sun afternoon. :) You know it will be fun with Matt, Drake, and I along. :)

I just can't wait to get out of here. I can't wait for tonight, to get all dolled up and spif-if-fied and hang out with our friends. Then head to Big Tex and rock out! \m/ Just so excited. Well I'm going to go run some errands and try and get my house picked up. See ya!

On TV?!?!

This weekend for the Army/Navy game, I saw one of my good friends Scott actually on TV. It was hilarious! Matt and I were actually getting ready to go Christmas shopping and my mom called and asked if I was watching the game. I had told her we had it on, but weren't really watching it as we were getting Miss B ready to go. She had said, well I saw Scott on there...I was like NO WAY! So I rewound the DVR and saw him yelling and screaming being typical Scott. How funny to see a friend on TV. He's in his senior year at the Naval Academy. haha. Just thought that was kind of neat.

Shop till you drop

If there is one thing that will be passed down among the Atwater women, it will be the love and obsession with shopping and shoes. I have already started with Bayleigh. Two days after we got home from the hospital after I gave birth to her, we got all dolled up and went out shopping at the mall. That's how serious this is for us women. haha Yesterday we went to the mall to try to do some Christmas shopping and yet we ended up shopping for Miss B. I did buy a pair of REALLY cute red shoes for my Christmas party outfit..so excited to wear them. But we splurged on Miss B at Gymboree. We got her 2 adorable dresses for the holidays that I cannot wait to put her in.

I just thought this was SOOOO cute..love the fuu fuu on the neck and sleeves.

We also got her a snug onesie for when we go to NC since it's going to be pretty cold there.

I put her in the other outfit that we bought her today. It is SOOOO cute. All pink..you can never have too much pink for a girl.

We had her doctor's appointment today..not fun. Had to get her second round of immunizations. And we have to go back on the 6th of Jan for one more b/c the HIB shot was on back order. Sucks. Once again, I hated watching her cry. But she's better now and asleep in her swing. Hopefully she'll get a good nap since she hasn't really been able to get one today since I've been running errands and such. I finally got some Christmas cards in the mail today. YAY! Still have a few more to get out. I'll actually have to make a couple more. I'll use some of these pictures though if I have to make more..I didn't have one of her in a Christmas outfit and now that I do have one I am def going to have to use it. She is just too precious. I'm so excited for the Christmas party tomorrow. Can't wait to get all snazzy...LADY IN REEEEEDDD!! haha. I am excited for Matt and I to be together as well. Only a few more days until we're off to Pensacola, then to NC. Can't wait to see Rachel and Drake and Coz. Matt and I are so excited about going to the Shang. It's a restaurant that we used to go to..Chinese..it's sooo good. I can't wait to see my family. I think Matt and I may go to the mountains for a couple of days and snowboard and let MiMi and Granddaddy watch Miss B. We still haven't decided a definite yes with that, but it would be really nice to just have some time together and not have to worry about Miss B. And now since she's on formula completely, I don't have to worry about anything. So that will be nice if we decide to go. I haven't snowboarded in 3 years and I have been dieing to go again. It will be so much fun with Matt. He's skied, but never snowboarded so it will be interesting to see if he can pick it..I'm sure he can though.

Annnnnnddd....ACTION!!!

So Matt and I decided to exchange one gift last night with each other. He got me a SUPER NICE video camera, one of the high tech ones. JVC. So exciting. I'm so happy b/c my other/old one broke and this is B's first Christmas and road trip so I want to record a bunch of video. It can also upload straight to youtube and you can take pictures with it. It has a lot of other features that I'm going to have to figure out. So I can't wait to post videos of Miss Bayleigh Boo on here and of our trip and of her first Christmas. I gave him his Nike golf club that he wanted. I know he's itchin' to use it. I'm hoping we can play golf while in North Carolina and with Rachel and Drake. We are planning on staying a day or two in Pace on our way back from NC so we can visit some friends. Can't wait!

So today is a better day. Still kinda blue and have a lil bit of a tough time getting motivated, but it's sunny out and I'm at least determined to get my lights up today. A little late, but better late than never. I'm also planning on doing Christmas cards today too at Wal-Mart. Gotta get those out. I think I've finally figured out which pictures I"m going to use for it. Excited about that. :) I can't believe that Christmas is just a little over 2 weeks away. GEEZ!!! I can't wait to go home. Like my previous blog as well, I can't wait to see Rachel and Drake...and Coz with her issues..hehe..and see Rachel's mom and dad and KYLIE!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited to see her. Even though it will be just for a couple of hours. I hope Miss B will be in a good mood after traveling for 7-8 hrs. We'll see. Hopefully we can get through LA ok without issues. But I doubt it. Ugh.

Oh how I miss my friends back in Pensacola. I can't wait to see everyone in a couple of weeks. I'm so excited to see Rachel. Lately I have been kinda depressed b/c I have NOTHING to do except just sit at home and take care of Bayleigh. Don't get me wrong, she and I have a blast together, but I need to feel productive. My house is picked up, I mean I could clean it such as dust, clorox, etc..etc, however I just haven't been in the cleaning mood again. I went out with some friends for lunch today and we sat and talked for a couple of hours, but it's just not the same as your old friends. I got happy when I saw that Rachel had called me earlier this evening, although I had missed her call, so I called her back and guess who answered.....DRAKE!! haha He goes, HEEAAYYYY, whatcha doinnnnn? (In a girlie voice) haha. So Drake and I chit chatted for a little bit before he had to finish getting ready for work. He makes me laugh..ha ha. :) Then I talked with my lala for a while. She always makes me feel better. We talked about several topics, but mostly about her and how she can test next week to see if she's pregnant. Keep your fingers crossed and in your prayers. The fertility drugs increases her chance of having twins and twins run in her family, I think is what she said. So who knows!!! I'm just so hoping she's pregnant and if not, then next month will be the month. I just have a feeling La!

Anyway, we just sat around on the phone and I vented about A LOT of things. She's the one I can truely vent to. So it felt good to talk to my bf b/c she ROCKS!! Whoop whoop! haha

Other than that, notta whole lot is going on. I did some Christmas shopping yesterday for Matt. Bayleigh slept from 10 until 5 last night. She woke up at 8, an hour after I put her down, like she was startled so I'm wondering if she had a nightmare or something. Do they have nightmares that young??? I went in there and soothed her and let her know it was ok and she went right back to sleep. Then she woke up at 10 for some odd reason and wouldn't go to sleep so I fed her probably 2 oz then she went back to sleep. She drank 5 oz whenever I put her down at 7. Maybe she just needed to be topped off. I dunno. We'll see tonight.

Like I said earlier, I've been kinda down lately with absolutely nothing to do. I'm thinking of either going to the bookstore to get some more books or go watch New Moon...again...for the 3rd time. haha. I love just sitting in the bookstore with a vanilla latte from Starbucks...mmmmm. I dunno though. I'm just not motivated to do anything....it sucks. Maybe it's the baby blues??? I dunno. I can't wait to leave for the holidays though. Maybe that will lift my spirits as it draws closer. I know I'm super stoked about the CG Christmas party next week. I've got a couple of outfit ideas in mind. Don't know what I'm going to wear yet though. Matt and I will be able to go out for a while together without B. He and I just need some time together. After the party everyone usually heads to Big Tex for drinks. Last year we heard it was a blast, however I had just found out I was pregnant so we didn't go. So I'm so looking forward to go this year with everyone.

Too good to be true

That's what last night was. B was up again at 1 then at 5...grrr. Momma was a little cranky...HA. A little?! I mean, I tried to let her just cry it out and NOPE, she's as stubborn as I am I swear. Here's hoping tonight will be as good as a couple of nights ago. I finally found out that her next doctor's appt is the 15th. Yay (Said sarcastically)

We didn't do too much this weekend. Matt had to go to the memorial service on Saturday in Waco for the victims that were involved in that crash out in California. He had to get all spiff-if-fied in his uniform. My thoughts and prayers are still going out to the families. Very sad to have lost so many on more than likely an error  which should have been prevented. So Miss B and I played around and chit chatted with each other...she always has something very important to say..lol. Then I cleaned the house. Got waaaaayy into the cleaning mode and got my house clean. I even vacuumed. LOL Well just our bedroom anyways. Today I am going to get the office area cleaned up and mop and pick up what we left around and then do our Christmas Tree. I don't know why Matt and I keep putting it off but I'm going to get it done today. Matt has duty, which sucks because I want to do it together. But we just never do. So might as well do it myself b/c if I don't, it will sit bare in the living room. LOL Speaking of Christmas trees, here is my Coastie tree. Pretty proud of it.

Along with out messy bookshelf that we are planning on going through...one day. haha. But I thought the tree was cute. The ribbon needs to be a little longer, but I struggled to make that bow. I needed my mom to do it since she can make ALL kinds of bows. But it came out ok so I'll take it how it is. I also have to put up my Christmas lights outside. It's been rainy here the past few days so hopefully it will let up the around the time that I want to do it.

We watched Bama beat Florida...thank God! I am so sick of hearing about Florida and Tebow. I mean, he's a good football player, but there is just something about him that just strikes me as odd, I guess you could say. Matt said it perfectly...

Gas to get to the Georgia dome - $150; Beer for the whole game - $100; Scalped tickets for the SEC Championship game - $400; Seeing tears in Tebow's eyes - PRICELESS!! 

LOL too funny. Then we watched the Cowboys play a disappointing game yesterday. Please, Cowboys, GET A NEW KICKER FOR CRYIN" OUT LOUD!!!! OMG He sucks!!!! UGH! So that was a big upset and needless to say, Matt was pretty PO-ed.

We went to church yesterday and we both really liked it. I can't wait to go back. Everyone just was ecstatic about a new baby and saying how adorable she was in her dress and shoes. She is so cute. I was so excited to put her in a Sunday dress. Now I know how my mom felt when she would dress me up as a baby. So much FUN. Matt hates when I put big bows  on her and I told myself I would never do that to my children, since my mom did it and I hated it. But now I see mother, and it's the cutest thing. Bows are so much fun!

Well Miss B is calling me. Gonna go catch up on my gossip with her. haha.

Oh Miss B Miss B Miss Beeeeeeee

So last night Miss B finally slept the ENTIRE night. We put her to bed at 8 and she slept until 7 this morning. She kinda woke up around 130 and 515, but both times, as I was making her bottle and went into her room to get her she was back to sleep. It was so nice. I mean, I was still like, ok I know her so right as I'm about to be asleep she'll REALLY wake up. So I would just let myself doze for a lil bit before I finally realized that she wasn't waking up. SO NICE. I'm hoping she can do it again tonight. We shall see. This morning was so much fun. She is so cute when I walk into her room and speak to her and tell her good morning. She just smiles and grins and is so happy. She's such a happy baby. I put her mirror that's in her room in front of her today and she just smiled so big and so much. The pictures tell all. SOOOO ADORABLE. My little girl is the cutest thing EVER!

I actually got a picture of her with the camera in front of her. She usually will just stare at the camera and not smile no matter what I do.

Isn't she just adorable?!?! We went shopping today. Well, just for a min. I was on a mission to find her some black shoes. Matt and I are going to try out a church tomorrow and I needed black shoes to go with her outfit. I was really annoyed b/c I practically had to drive all over to find black shoes. I mean seriously, that's like one of the most popular styles of shoe for babies and I couldn't find them in her size. I went to Babies R Us, Kohls and Shoe Carnival. NOTHING. Although in Shoe Carnival I did find a couple pair of heels that I REEEEEEALLLLY  liked. I was on the verge of getting them, but I told Matt that he should be proud of me and I resisted my obsession and didn't buy them. Maybe a Christmas present though??? hehe. I finally found some shoes at JCPenney's. She's going to be so cute. I'm so excited to dress her up. I think it finally hit today that she is still so small. The shoe size that I had to get was newborn to 6 weeks. The others made her look like big foot. I mean, she will be 4 months old on the 12th and the 0-3 month clothes are FINALLY starting to fit her. Some 3 month only clothes are still too big for her.

Anyway, I'm really excited to try this church tomorrow. We've been kinda looking for a more traditional church. Most of the churches around here are either way too big or too contemporary. I'm just not one of those contemporary people with church. I just can't "rock out" at church. LOL Just doesn't happen. But Matt and I are glad to be going.

Huge Let Down

That's what yesterday was. We were supposed to get 3-5 inches of snow and we got NOTHING. I mean, it snowed, but it didn't stick at all. I was really bummed about it b/c I worked myself up so much. I was super excited about it. :( I think everyone else around us, literally, got snow. At least like 2 inches and we got NOTHIN'. So Poo. But I didn't manage to take some pictures when it was really coming down. We really didn't do anything yesterday either. We had a fire going the entire day which was cool and we had never done that before. Cookie REALLY enjoyed that. He would just stand by the fire for a long time, then eventually lay down and doze by it. It was so cute. Other than that, nothing else. Oh, well Matt made bacon and potato soup from one of our many cookbooks. It was really good. :) Here are some pictures from yesteraday.

I am so freakin' stoked about it snowing tomorrow. It's going to snow for a few hours too. It's supposed to start around 2 or 3, well change from rain to snow that time. It's going to be FREEZING tomorrow. I can't wait. This is how Christmas is supposed to be. I would love for it to snow how it did back when I was living in Washington D.C. all those years ago. We got 33 inches of SNOW!!! Although, I know it won't ever get like that here, but gosh it was gorgeous! I am just so excited about it tomorrow. I need to get my outside decor up when Matt gets home so he can help me. Gonna be pretty!!!!! I will post pictures as soon as I get a chance!!

Almost done

I am just about finished with setting up my Christmas decor. I bought a tree yesterday for our office area for our Coast Guard tree. I'm so excited about it. I bought all the orange and blue ornaments last year and never got a tree, so I'm super excited to decorate it. Hopefully tonight we can get out main tree in the living room done. I don't want to decorate that without Matt since it's the "family" tree. I love how my house looks. I rearranged our living room furniture too..just popped in my head one day. We had to figure out something so we could fit our tree in there. When Matt came home and saw what I had done a couple of weeks ago, he said he loved it. It really opened up the living room..made it look more spacious. We have 3 windows on the back wall and after I moved the loveseat to the other side it really opened up. You'll see what I mean when I post pictures. But I won't be posting any with this post of my decor b/c my house is still a mess and I want you to get the full affect of my house all clean and Christmas-y. :)

We are supposed to get some snow Friday!!! I'm so EXCITED!!! We got snow last year around the same time..just about 2 inches. I hope we get that much this Friday. Miss B's first snow on her first Christmas! Exciting!!! It's been really cold here the past few days. I'm loving it. It really does feel like the Holiday. I have an outfit for B probably everyday till Christmas thanks to Grandma, MiMi, and Aunt Jamie. I love just dressing her up. She is just so cute. I can't believe she will be 4 months on the 12th. She has another doctor's appt. tomorrow to get her second round of shots. SO NOT looking forward to that. But ya gotta do what you gotta do for your precious children.

So we are planning on going home to NC for Christmas. Plane tickets are just outrageous. So we are leaving on the 20th and driving to Pensacola and staying at Rachel's. It will be Drake's first time getting to see Bayleigh. I know Rachel is super excited that we are bringing all our dogs which will cause Coz to have even more issues. HAHAHAHAHAH! I can't wait to see my La! Then we are getting up the next day and driving the rest of the way. Hopefully Miss B can hang for that long. I hate to have her in the car seat all day, but what can you do ya know? I'm sure she'll be fine. Hopefully the dogs won't get too cold. They will be on the back of the truck in their cages. We are going to put tarps around their cages so hopefully they'll be ok. If we could find a camper shell that would make me stress A LOT less.

Well, I'm going to go. I have to get ready while B is asleep. Going to go get some hooks for the tree decorations for CG tree. It's going to look so cool. I'm so excited!!!
