My Beautiful B

So Bayleigh has started to learn how to sit on her own...sort of. She can't sit straight up...yet...but she's getting there. I captured some pictures yesterday that are just to die for. She is so cute. She is has also started turning over onto her belly while asleep. I think she may be a stomach sleeper like her father and I. (That was one of the reasons I could not wait to get her here when I was pregnant with her. I was sooo ready to sleep on my stomach again.) She can roll back over when she's on the floor, but I don't think she's quite figured out that she can also do it in her crib. So now it's back to waking up a couple of times a night to flip her back over. At least we can go right back to bed. She usually doesn't eat until 5, 6, or 7...depending on when we put her down.

Right now I just put her in her crib to take a nap. Matt and I got up around 745 b/c she was awake. Then we had a USAA guy come out and take a look at Matt's windshield b/c there was a chip in it. So around 9 or so I went back to sleep and then woke up at 11. I didn't have a good night last night. I've had a cough for the past couple of days and it's one of those annoying little tickles in the back of your throat. Sucks. So I'm going to go and get some cough medicine when I go to Wal-Mart later. While I'm there, I'm going to see if I can find a bunch of cute picture frames. We take all these pictures and don't have ANY around the house. So I'm going to spend a little moo-la and decorate our house with love. (I know you liked that Ray) Matt said "Hopefully you can find a picture frame that says 'Thank you Thank you Thank you.'" LOL! Oh geez too funny. I love my husband!

Ok, well I'm cutting this one off short. Gotta go get my nails done then head to the gym before Matt has to leave me for duty...gaaaay! haha. I will post the pictures later. My program is acting up every time I try to open it. xoxo

BLOW OUT!!

So the other night, Matt and I were just hangin' out while Bayleigh was on the floor on her play mat thingy. Matt was actually cleaning up dinner. Miss B was laying just talking away then started rolling to her side, which I didn't really pay much attention to since this is the norm for her...put her on her back and within a minute or so, she rolls over. Well, me watching TV didn't notice the big ol' green/brown spot on the back of her onesie. (Plus I didn't smell anything) Then Matt was like "OMG she pooped!" And as I look down, I see the spot. Well I just figured that some of it had seeped out, ya know, nothin' big. Well low and behold to my surprise, it was ALL down her back. HaHa! Matt and I were just like "ewwwwww" as well as laughing the same time. We both agreed that this one was bath worthy. haha. I have pictures so one day I can embarrass her with her boyfriends, lol. Ray, get ready! haha

The Christmas Party

So this blog is a little behind..however I am not going to the gym tonight...which I'm really p-oed about. I have an upset stomach. I think it was some food I ate...which sucks. However, Matt has duty tomorrow so he won't be going in until 4 so I will go and do double time at the gym in the morning.

Anyway, these are the pics from the Christmas party we had back in December with everyone from Ellington. It was really fun and I was so excited about getting to wear my red dress and red shoes. I brought my shoes to NC and showed my mom and she loved them. She said she wished she could wear high heels like she used to. I was still sportin' my high heels when I was 9 months preggo. HAHA...Love my fetish! We had a rockin' time! I love the military parties we attend. Everyone was all snazzy with their "hur" did and make-up done and all the glitzy jewelry. You know I had to wear my bling bling. After the dinner and party part, we headed out to Big Tex with some of the other military personnel and had a blast. One of the other pilots finally got to buy me my tequila shot. haha. Long story short, I had gone out one night to watch Shad's band play and meet up with my buddy Mike and with some of our friends when I was 7 months pregnant and Mr. D had bought us tequila shots. Well the waitress, she brought the shots to our table (Mr. D wasn't sitting at our table), had to take my shot back to Mr. D. So he came over and was like "I'm really offended that you sent back my shot..." Then he looked at me and was like, " OH YEAH, I forgot you were pregnant!" (he really had forgotten...)  HAHAHAH true story! After that, I always gave him grief. So I told him while at the Christmas party that I was expecting a shot. And of course, he bought one. And whew! I'm glad it was ONLY one! LOL

I just love our friends at the air station. I love how Matt and I can have a good time as well. We can have a good time just sitting at the house together and we can ALWAYS have fun when we go out and rock out! This was the first time that he and I got to go out together in a LONG time. We were so stoked about it. It was so, so much fun. I love the looks that the girls give him when we're walking through the crowds. It's so flattering. hehe :) We actually got home around 1230 from picking up Miss B at Rosie's. We don't stay out like we used to. But I wouldn't have it any other way. I can't do that now..I mean I could, but I don't want to. I love getting home and going to look at my beautiful daughter. Plus I gotta make sure I can get up with her the next day. lol Matt and I are truly blessed. :)

Well, gonna hit the hay. I'm pretty tired from last night. Bayleigh Boo didn't have a good night last night. I don't know what her deal was. UGH! So I have been exhausted today. But she's been asleep ever since Matt put her down around 815 after her bottle. Last night she woke up about an hour after I put her down. Gave her some Mylicon, then she woke up at 5, then around like 645..right after Matt left. I checked on her to make sure everything was ok then let her just sit in her crib and let her cry it out. She wasn't really crying so I don't think she was in any discomfort. So hopefully we'll be back on track for sleeping through the ENTIRE night. She had done it for 3 days in a row. I'm hoping and praying she does. LOL I gave her a little bit of solid food today. Just some pears and prunes. Don't want to go through another "stopped up" incident.

Ok, I'm really going now. Gonna go read my western cowboy romance book. hehe Love 'em! They rock my socks! :)

Keep your head up

So my BF still hasn't gotten pregnant. She started today...so just wanted to write a quickie for those following to please keep Rachel and Drake in your prayers for a baby. They are going on 9 months of trying and Ray's getting very frustrated with nothing happening. So please pray for them!

I love you la. I know I keep saying, even said it this morning when texting, but just keep your head up. Hey, if nothing else, you have ME! haha ;) I love you and it will happen, eventually. Just think of how exciting it will be for your family and Drake's family when the time comes to tell eveyone. You know everyone will be there for you wanting to help in any way that they can. This is going to be the most special baby...always is with the baby of the family and the first born of the family. :) And, you'll still have great legs throughout the preggoness. HAHA. You are going to be all belly. And afterwards, you won't be like me and look like I'm going to have another one. HAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHA (Yes, that is my inspiration when I'm at the gym...tanks Kylie!) LMAO I love you Rachel. Hang in there.

Know you Pee's and Poop's

I just laughed as I wrote that title. It's from Family Guy and my hubby will walk around the house saying it. So I thought it was appropriate for today's blog title. Miss B was still constipated this morning when she woke up at 5. She is sleeping through the night..YAY! This has been the first time that she has became awake before 8, so I didn't mind considering the circumstances. Yet again, she was trying to poop when I changed her wet diaper. She was in pain, you could just tell. So I changed her diaper as quickly as I could and Matt got a bottle ready. After that I put her down and she woke up around 745. This time again, she was trying to poop. So I got another Pedi-Lax applicator and popped it in and within 5 minutes she pooped a big ol' poopie. I'm sure it was uncomfortable as her little bottom is irritated and raw. I have been keeping ButtPaste on it and Aquafor and I have also given her some Motrin. After that poop, she seemed to feel A LOT better. I'm so glad. I was really torn up this morning when she woke up at 5 b/c she was uncomfortable and there was really nothing I could do. I was tearing up. :( I just hope now she will continue to go and get better.

Right now she is asleep in her swing so I figured I would take a few moments and update everyone. I have some pictures that I captured of her a few days ago. I am going to clean the guest bedroom for Matt's parents for this weekend. Enjoy!

Waiting it out

Poor Bayleigh is constipated. I feel so bad for her. I think she has had too much solid food and her body hasn't had time to adjust to the new stuff. I feel so bad. I didn't even think about how it would affect her little tummy. I was so anxious whenever she started eating it and was making all the sounds that it was good and it was so cute watching her that I didn't even think to take it slow. So now she is just trying to go, she's pushing and getting all red faced...it's kinda funny but in the end it's not and it makes me cry that she's hurting and there's really nothing I can do about it. We have given her prune juice with some water and I went out and bought pears and prunes in baby food to feed to her. ANYTHING that will get her to poop and make her feel better. I've also given her some Motrin to maybe help with the pain. She's trying to hard, but only a minute amount is coming out. Not to be disgusting, but it's like its just right there and won't come out. I've tried putting the thermometer up her butt, (not the most pleasant thing to write about) b/c I read that it helps stimulate them to go; tried giving her a warm bath..we let her sit in it for about 15 min...still nothing. And I'm trying to get her to drink her second round of prune juice. I just don't know what else to do for her. It's been like 5 days since she last pooped. She has been rather good about it though. I mean, when she feels like she's got to go, she pushes as hard as she can..yet nothing. She cries her little painful cry and it's so sad. I hate it. Yet when she's done or the feeling subsides she goes right back to smiley, happy Miss B.

Tomorrow we are going to call the doctor to see if there is any type of med we can give her that will speed this up. I know she has to be uncomfortable at times. She did sleep through the night last night which was wonderful. However, I did not. I went to bed without taking any of my pain meds trying to see if I didn't need them anymore. I fell asleep, but when I woke up at 3, Bayleigh was grunting b/c the covers were off, after I got back from covering her up, my head and ear were just pounding. I think that my ear has finally cleared b/c it will pop whenever I yawn so I know that's good, yet it's still giving me pain and it's uncomfortable at night to sleep unless I take some medicine. So I guess once I finish my antibiotic, only a day or so left of it, and if my ear is still giving me trouble then I will make an appointment. I am starting my workout tomorrow, so maybe that may help it....I'm hoping.

Anyway, I tried uploading the video to youtube and it just takes too friggin' long. 2 hours to be exact. And I keep forgetting to make sure the computer doesn't go to sleep. So give me some time. I'm going to try to see if there is another way I can do it which might be faster.

I'm going to close for now. If ANYONE has any known remedies that will help speed up this constipation with B it will be GREATLY appreciated. I hate seeing her like this and her little whimpers and cries just kill me. I don't know of anything else to do except wait it out...which sucks. But if anyone knows anything please let me know. Have a good night.

Disaster

Yes! That is what my house is. Matt is on duty today..sucks. I'm all by myself with Miss B...and the dogs. LOL And it's cold outside..which I love. So I'll probably put a log on today. Yesterday we were having a smoky smell in the house since we had a log on, so we put it out. So today I'm going to try again and hopefully it won't happen again. Don't know why it was doing that..the house wasn't smoking, it just smelled like it....hmmm. Yesterday we went and got one of those doorway jumpers for Bayleigh. It was the funniest thing when she figured out she could just jump and jump and jump in it. I have videos, it just takes 2 hours to load them...grr..so I will have them up sometime today. I was crying I was laughing so hard. There is nothing funnier than watching your baby figure something new out then just love it and smile and giggle b/c they see you smiling so they know they are doing something right. We also received her high chair in the mail yesterday that matches her stroller and swing. I was so excited to used it. Also, a friend of mine is letting me borrow this chair thing called Bumbo. It helps babies sit up and have a new viewing perspective on their surroundings. I think she likes it. :) So now with the jumper and the Bumbo, maybe I can get my house cleaned before Matt's parents come. haha. It needs to be cleaned anyway. I really think that it has taken us this whole week for Matt and I to recuperate from our trip. Hopefully I will get most of it picked up today then tomorrow we can scrub-a-dub-dub the house and Monday we can have a day together. (Since Matt has duty on a Saturday, he'll get Monday off)

I have also started B on solid foods. She LOOOOVES green beans. haha I was feeding her the other night before bed and she was going "mmmm" "mmm" "mmmm"and smiling. It was so funny. Once again I was laughing so hard I was crying. She is soooo cute. Everyone just comments on her, strangers at the stores and such..saying "she is so cute", "what a precious baby", "she looks like a Gerber baby", "look at those blue eyes and those eyelashes", "she is just beautiful", "I've never seen a more gorgeous baby." People have also suggested she should be a baby model. I think so too, but I would never put her through the riggors of the public and picture taking and all that yadda. I don't think it's healthy for a baby to be put through that kind of mess.

Anyway, I'm going to go finish my coffee and play with Bayleigh some then hopefully get started on my house, if I don't get too distracted with her in her jumper. I just love to watch her. :)

Friends in 2010

Man, we have some really awesome friends. Some we don't get to see as often as we like, but we try and make trips to see everyone and if we are in the same area, we try to get up and live like ROCKSTARS!! haha...not to that extent, but we like to have a good time.While in Pensacola, I was able to see my Kylie. She is getting sooo big. Kylie is Rachel's niece, and I've come to the conclusion that she is my adopted daughter as well. I love her so much. Once again, she is getting SO big. I almost cried when I saw her. She gave me a big ol hug when she saw me. :) She's going to be SO Gorgeous when she gets older! She reminded me of myself when I was little when I saw her with her dangly earrings on...:)
