Shop till you drop

Today is going to be full of driving, shopping, spending some moo-la, and more shopping. Since it's my day off, I am going to go out and try to get things together for Bayleigh's birthday party on Saturday. Thursday she will be 1 year old. Where has the time gone? I just can't believe how quickly the days have past and we have finally reached this marker.
I am going to go to Party City to try and get birthday things for her. Hopefully I can find a pink horse pinata. That's going to be her theme....of course. :) I still haven't decided what to do for her cake. I'm thinking of making a cupcake for her birthday on Thursday then a cake for Saturday. I just don't want any leftovers b/c 1) it will go to waste more than likely and 2) Matt and I DO NOT need the extra calories. I am excited to see how she will dig in to her cakes when the time comes. I can't wait to record it.
B still has an ear infection but we went to the doctor and got some stronger medicine to hopefully get rid of this once and for all. She has been more fussy than normal, which is not the case for our Bayleigh Boo. She is the happy go lucky baby, ALL THE TIME. I know she is tired of it and we are tired from not getting any sleep. B/c of the lack of sleep, I am now sick. I have made an appointment with the OB/GYN for next week. I feel better today than I did yesterday. I was able to get a full nights sleep last night so I believe that helped.
Well, I am off to walk to the mailbox to drop off some mail and get my day started with SHOPPING!!!!! :)

Baby Bug Eyes

Now Momma AND Bayleigh will be sporting some bug eyes along with Aunt Racey since she is NOTORIOUS for them. :) I found these at Kohls when I went shopping and just couldn't resist. Soooo precious.

Saturdays ^

Matt, B and I are going to run a few errands today. We are going to look at some tiki torches for the backyard along with some plants to put in. We are also going to stop by Party City to get some decorations for Miss B's first birthday party next weekend. We are super excited. I bought her the cutest 1st birthday outfit. It's a onesie and a pink tutu skirt along with a birthday hat. She is going to be soooo stinkin' cute. I can't wait. OH! I also found her some baby "bug eyes". I cannot wait to put them on and snap some pictures. They are adorable! Now I need to find her a "Big Sister" outfit. I still cannot believe we are going to have another one so soon. Now that the reality of it has sunk in we are super excited. I so hope it's a boy. But we'll see. Rumor has it that 65 pilots all have girls because of the vibration of the helo "confuses" the little boy spermies. So we'll see probably end of October, beginning of November. CRAP! It just hit me that we are going to have to start thinking of names. LOL Oh Lordy!
We're also going to hit one of my favorite stores today....Hobby Lobby!!!!!! YAY!!! I'm sure they've got a bunch of fall decorations out which I just LOOOOOVE fall decor. Hopefully I can walk out of there today without buying anything....Matt will probably have to carry me out kicking and screaming. LOL
Today is going to be kind of busy. After our little shopping spree, Matt has a wedding to go to in Galveston for one of his buddies. I'm not going to go since the wedding is at 7 and Miss B will start to get cranky at that time. But I hope he has fun. :)

We're Walking!!

I'M PREGNANT WITH BABY # 2!!!!!

That's right! Matt and I are pretty much shocked, although we know exactly when it happened. We weren't planning on having another baby this soon as we are still adjusting to Miss B and I wanted more time with her. But I've got 9 months to go so I will enjoy that time. It just scares the dickens out of me to think I will have a 20 month old and a newborn. Will I be able to handle it? Will I go crazy? Will B be able to understand? I guess I wanted more time to love on her. She is sooo affectionate and it just melts my heart, as cheeeeeesey as that sounds, it's true. I mean, I think about it and I guess deep down this is what I really wanted. Kids pretty close together. However, God works in mysterious ways and Matt and I both look at this as a wonderful blessing and I know He would not give me anything that I couldn't handle. So I'm really looking to Him to help my nervousness about this. But I wanted to let everyone know. Matt and I are still in a daze, but excited. We are hoping for a boy. But we'll see here in a few months. :)

Happy 220th Birthday Coast Guard

Today we had Coast Guard day at the airsta. We, the airstation, had a get together out at one of the local parks. Matt, being in admin, had to organize the big event. He did a wonderful job. B and I went out there for a little bit. She was a hit. We brought her lion along and she had a blast walking all over the place. She just looooooved the attention and was just smiling and laughing. It was so funny. She would put her head down and just take off in a crawl as fast as she could go. It was so adorable. Matt and I just laughed.

After about an hour or so, we had to leave. I needed to get her down for a nap before I had to drop her off at daycare so I could go to work. I did have time to snap a few more pictures. She is so beautiful.

Update

So my dad is doing well. Dana, I'm sorry I haven't called you back, but thanks a bunch for calling me. It really means a lot. Love you!
The doctor gave my dad some medicine to regulate his irregular heartbeat, which it's also high as well. So he is trying to make an appointment with his regular doctor so they can diagnose what's going on. Other that this, there is no new news. He's just taking it easy and resting now. Betcha Can't Catch Me!!!

Irregular Heartbeat

So please keep my dad in your prayers. My mom just called and said that my dad is being admitted to the hospital to stay b/c he has an irregular heartbeat. He went in for another doctor's appointment today...he's been pretty sick lately...no color...exhausted...coughing. From what my mom said he couldn't get into the pulpit 2 weeks ago to preach, and when my dad can't get up to preach there is something seriously wrong with him. So we've all been pretty concerned. He loves his work and it's hard to get him to relax. He takes a lot on his shoulders, but he's not the type to just sit and chill. He always has to be doing something.
Anyway, he's at the hospital and they are going to run a series of tests to find out what is wrong. I hope it's nothing serious, but I don't know how long it will be before we know something. It seems so...unreal to me. My daddy is in the hospital. I'm trying not to look too much into and be all dramatic about it and get myself worked-up. I think I'm just in shock. I'm scared, but it's just hard to believe.
I won't ramble, but please keep my family in your prayers.  This just makes me want to go home even more and it just sucks right now b/c we can't afford a plane ticket at the moment. Grrrr. Hopefully I'll hear something tonight and hopefully it's good news.

Once You Go Black...

You Never Go Back! Haha. While Bayleigh took her morning nap, I decided to give myself a manicure using one of my favorite nail colors..BLACK! haha It brings out the inner Rockstar in me. :)

Today is Monday...sigh. I'm ready to get off work and head to the barn. We are going to drop B off at daycare for a couple of hours so we can work on the round pen out there. Syila, Charlotte and John (her husband), and Kim and Kevin are going to work together to hopefully get it cleaned up. We're adding two more panels to it to make it bigger as well. I plan on using it quite a bit with Koda. I'm excited b/c she needs to be worked pretty good to get back in shape again.
Miss B and I had a fun morning. I tried to get her to go on a small walk with me with her lion, like to the end of the driveway and back, but that didn't happen. She was too interested in trying to look at the bushes and flowers and eat the mulch. Haha. So we got about 2 feet from the door. We went back inside and played. She is just awesome. She is so affectionate too. She will crawl over to me, pull herself to stand, and just smile then lay her head on my legs. It just makes me melt. Or when Matt and/or I are on the floor, she'll just crawl up to you and lay her head on your chest and smile at you. It's the one of the most precious moments in the world.
