Let's Reorganize Everything

Apparently B has decided that the tupperware cabinet needs to be reorganized. Since we've gotten home, she has felt the need to pull a BUNCH of the tupperware out of the cabinet then put it back it. I guess she just doesn't like the job she did 30 minutes before. Haha! And she has decided, since now she has figured out how to open draws, that she would rearrange her bottom drawer of her dresses. She has pulled the bed sheets and blankets how. Yes, they are still sitting there on the floor to. Momma has been lazy. Although I will say I did actually unpack my suitcase yesterday, however the dirty clothes are still sitting in the floor along with my dresses that I brought that need to be hung up. Haha. But I did put the laundry that we did before we left (already folded) away. And Matt picked up the kitchen last night. I tried putting on my Christmas DVD (plays a bunch of snow scenery..LOVE IT...along with Christmas music) and tried to get into the mood, but yeah, didn't happen.
I haven't been feeling very well yesterday and a little bit of this morning. Upset stomach. Don't know what my deal is but I hope I am done with this little bug TODAY.
So far B hasn't felt like reorganizing...yet...the day is still young. But she did decide to pull everything out of her toy basket...so now toys are sprawled out all over the living room floor. Will they get picked up before I leave for work?? Probably not. Haha. Oh well, it's ok. :)
Well I am off to put on Christmas music and take a shower before I have to get ready for work. I just put B down since she has been up since probably 645 or so. Hopefully she'll go to sleep and get a good nap before I have to go to work. Happy Hump Day! ♥ K

345...

Is how many pictures we took on our trip. So bare with me while I figure out which ones to post. :)

Annnnd we're back

We've made it home safely! We had a fun, yet busy week down in Port Isabel. We fished....A TON! And caught a TON as well. Didn't get to keep any Red Fish b/c they were all like an inch or two short of the legal size to keep. But we caught a ton of trout and ate what we caught. We had a lot left over too so we were able to bring some home as well. Nothing like fresh Trout for supper. :)
We arrived on Sunday and got settled in. Cole was so taken with Bayleigh. He's so funny. It was always, "baby...baby...baby" and "boat....boat....boat." He was constantly giving "sugars" to Miss B. It was cute.We spent a lot of our time fishing, usually in the morning to about noon, then in the evenings until about 8 or so. One day we played golf on a par 3 course. It was a lot of fun. If it had been a regular sized golf course with par 4s and par 5s, Matt and I would have scored our best yet! HAHA...needless to say, we didn't do so good. LOL But it was fun to practice and I think that's the best way to get a good practice in, with short pars like that.
We went to the pool a couple of times and Miss B was a little reserved about it. I think with a bunch of people there she was real curious at what was going on, but after a couple of trips there she had fun. We went to the beach one day too and she just walked up and down the beach with her lion toy she has. I couldn't believe how long she walked. People were just stopping by and gawking at her, saying how cute she was and how precious. I can't tell you how many people I've had say she looks like a Gerber baby. I am seriously considering getting her into some type of baby modeling. I felt so bad for her while playing in the water. We were pretty far away from the waves and letting her sit in the sand to play and this wave that we were expecting came in (nothing big) and had just enough energy to knock her over and then the water rushed over her faced. Scared the dickens out of me, but at the same time it was funny. I pulled her up quickly, of course, and she just had the shocked expression on her face. She gave a little cry, but after I reassured her everything was ok, she was wanting down again to play. She's a tough little baby. :)
Matt and I went out Saturday night to spend some time together. We went to a couple of bars on the island and had a fun time. We didn't expect to drink that much, yet that's what we always say. LOL We met some pretty cool girls that live in Austin so maybe we'll see them again some day.
We spent our last day hanging out and of course...fishing. I think I've gotten enough sun to last me until next summer. My hair has bleached out to being blonde. Overall, we had a great time. We were constantly doing something. I will post pictures later this evening. We have a BUNCH!!! :) ♥ K

Gamers

OOOOOOOOkay! So Matt and I loved the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. We had it beat within a few days. Kind of a disappointment that it wasn't longer or harder, although we did play it on easy..hehe..anyway, we saw the other day on the TV the advertisement for a WESTERN game. Where you ride horses and stuff. I'm freakin' out about the horse part! haha. But the game looks really cool and Matt and I can't wait to get it. It's called Red Dead Revolver (I just found out that this is the first one of 2) and the one we saw advertised was Red Dead Redemption. Matt and I were both like "Cooooool." Then I started getting all excited b/c it showed the characters having to ride horses and all that horse stuff! LOL I am such a nerd.

We were playing Call of Duty one day together and B was sitting in the floor watching the game. It's a pretty violent game and we were wondering if we should be letting an infant watch such a violent show...LOL But she didn't pay too much attention to it, but it was still funny at the time b/t him and I. haha. Just thought I would share that about our little gaming side. Like I said, I'm sure we will be hooked once we get it in the PS3. Yeehaw! LOL

Consistency is the Key

So as you all know, my horse, Ol' Herp as Rachel and I call her LOL, has had a couple of issues health wise. However, I think she is finally coming around. I have been really depressed and down about this b/c here I am with my very first horse and all these issues come about within the first month of owning her. It has been very, very frustrating and time consuming so-to-say for me. I have been feeling like I can't do anything with her. I haven't ridden her in over 3 weeks and it's killing me. I was able to get on Joey, Sylia's horse, the other day and that was just awesome. Anyway, Koda is showing HUGE improvements and I have been working with her the past week. Just ground work stuff, but she is coming along nicely with that. She is so smart and I think she's really coming around to me more. She's more curious as to what I'm doing while she's in the stall. I think she's finally starting to feel that I'm not necessarily a threat or anything to her and that I am the one in charge. I've still got a long way to go to get her to where I want and a lot of desensitizing with her, but I'm looking forward to it. When I leave the barn at night after working with her, I feel so much better, and Happy. :) Even through the sweat and the mosquitoes, LORD the mosquitoes have just been plain AWFUL, I have seriously come home just as excited about her as when I first got her. It's hard b/c what I want most is to ride. But at the same time, I have always wanted to start from scratch with a horse. It's the best way to learn. So I keep having to remind myself that in the end, this is exactly where I want to be with her. I have to keep reminding myself how lucky I am to have such a supportive husband through all this. He has made my absolute number 1 dream come true and he has been just as happy and excited and interested about it as I am. Thanks babe. I love you! :) It's so wonderful to have someone who loves you love your passion and want to share all of it with you.

I left him a card today on his truck. :) He loved it. Even though things have been kind of crazy with B teething and our patience with each other has tipped the scale a bit, I still LOVE being around him ALL the time. Well I am off to drink a Coors with my hubby and watch those STUUUUPID Jersey Shore people. They are such trash but HIGHLY entertaining. :) ♥ K

To Keep or Not to Keep

I am debating on keeping the blog up or not. Sometimes I just feel like it's another website to update, then other times I do like letting friends and family know what's going on. On the other hand, everyone has Facebook now so everyone can see pictures that way. The pictures/videos take SO LONG to upload that it is such a pain in the butt to me. I dunno what to do. This is where I'm at right now. Just don't know if it's worth it or not anymore. I may delete it after I get started on B's scrapbook b/c I think I'm pretty sure I have kept up with the dates for the little things she has learned how to do on here. Then after that, Bye Bye. Like I said, I'm still not sure though. But just thought I would let you all know. ♥ K

Constructive weekend

This weekend Matt and his dad were finally able to put up our new pergola that we've been talking about for a while. It looks soooooo good and I know we are going to enjoy it. Tomorrow we will hang Miss B's swing up. She has had a fun time hanging out with Grandpa and he has enjoyed her as well. Grandma sure missed out on a fun weekend, but its ok b/c I know we all will have so much fun next week on our vacation. Here are the pictures of our new pergola. :)
And of course....MISS BEEEEEEE!!!! let's go potty Miss B..hahaha
