7-2-7
Oh what a wonderful night it was!!!
I went out to the barn to work Leo at 6. He's doing so well. I just love this horse. He is such a sweetie with such a good disposition. He's so cute. I also helped Kim work her horse Sammy. She needed some help doing round penning and was asking for advice. :)
When I got home and walked through the front door, Miss B was in her room brushing her teeth and I hear "Mommaaaaaa!" I said "Hey Miss Beeeeeeeee!!!" She just smiled real big and ran to me. I love it. Matt said he put Blake down around 715 and he was out. Matt wanted to go for a run so I finished putting Miss B down. We read books and she really shocked and impressed me tonight. We were reading her Brown Brown Bear, What Do You See?. She knows all the animals in it. When she sees the bear, she will roar; when she sees the bird she will tweet tweet; now this is the cutest...she saw the horse and instead of saying "Koda" she said "Leeeeoo." I just about died. She is just soooo smart. OH, it gets better. When I came to the cat (which it's a purple cat in the book) I asked her what it was and she answers "purple cat". I couldn't believe it! I was so proud of her and praised her. She smiled real big. She is just so smart, I can't say it enough. :) We've been teaching her the ABC's as well and she's doing really well with that too. I bought her some bath letters and numbers yesterday when I went to Walmart for groceries and Matt (right before I got home from the barn) that the letter B was on the floor in her room and she went over to it and pointed and said "B". Ahh I just love that kid.
Ok, so the whole point of the blog was to write about Blake. LOL You know I had to brag about Miss B some though. Lord knows we can't leave her out. Haha. Anyway, so the night before we didn't have a good night. He was up every four hours...OK I guess that's good, but we had a schedule down. Anyway, Matt put him down at 7 and we started to hear him squirm at 1030. We were thinking what the heck. But apparently he went back to sleep and didn't wake up until 2. My awesome hubby got up with him since I had the entire night with him before because he had duty. It only takes about 15 minutes to give him his bottle and put him back in his crib and he's out again. We didn't hear him again until 7. So I got up and fed him and he's back to sleep. AWESOME!!!!! I was sleeping hard last night to and it was so pleasant. I hope this schedule continues. But I just wanted to brag about that. :)
I am going to go have my coffee and get my day started before the kiddos wake up.

What is he, 5-6 months?
"No, he is only 3 months."
"Wow he's a big boy."
"Yup, just like his daddy. He is 6'4"."
This is the conversation I had today about Blake while at Walmart getting groceries. I had 3 people come up to see him, saying he's just adorable and trying to guess his age...5-6 months. Nope. He's getting so big. He can lift himself up 90 degrees already, he's been turning his head 180 since birth and now has pretty much total head control...we still have the bobble-head affect, but 90% of the time he's in total control with his noggin. I just can't believe how fast he is growing. I think he's hitting a growth spurt as well. Oh geez! That boy is going to tower over me and Bayleigh by the time he's probably 10. Haha
Since he has been really wanting to jump lately, we brought out our off-brand "Johnny Jumper" we used with Miss B. He loves it. I just love this kid's facial expressions. They crack me up. He is smiling so much now...when he's happy...and talking and laughing. He is also trying to roll over...hasn't gotten it yet, but I'm sure he'll get it VERY soon. Here are some pictures I took of him in his jumper. :) By the way, I have no clue what B is doing in the background. hahahaha
And then there's Miss B who got mad b/c she couldn't have her way and get in it while brother was in it. Hahaha

Blues Weekend Vacay
Matt and I had an awesome vacation this past weekend. We arrived in Pensacola, well Milton I should say on Thursday at my friend Ms. Trish's. She used to teach me Sunday school when I was growing up. She had spaghetti ready for us and a bottle of wine to help get our weekend started. LOL I just love this lady so much. She used to have horses and I have always looked up to her. She is a strong woman who is someone you don't want to get into it with. She's smart as a whip and knows her stuff. Her husband flew in Vietnam, Apaches and Cobras, and has gotten a Bronze star (The Bronze Star Medal (or BSM) is a United States Armed Forces individual military decoration that may be awarded for bravery, acts of merit, or meritorious service. When awarded for bravery, it is the fourth-highest combat award of the U.S. Armed Forces and the ninth highest military award (including both combat and non-combat awards) in the order of precedence of U.S. military decorations.)) and also the DFC, Distinguished Flying Cross. This one is one of the top awards/honors a military personal can get. (The Distinguished Flying Cross is a medal awarded to any officer or enlisted member of the United States armed forces who distinguishes himself or herself in support of operations by "heroism or extraordinary achievement while participating in an aerial flight.) I could not imagine being Ms. Trish at the time while Mr. Raymond was in Vietnam. So obviously since Mr. Raymond is a helicopter pilot so that's what we talked about, then when the wine started flowing a little bit more we got into politics. All 3 of us agree that Obama is an idiot and has screwed our country in so many ways. LOL Then we talked about horses some, of course, and then the most important...my babies. :) Ms. Trish just can't believe that she was teaching me Sunday School when I was 13 and now I am grown and married with 2 beautiful children. :) She is like my second mom and always gives me good advice and tells me like it is. :) Love her.
When Friday morning rolled around, even though we stayed up talking until 12 midnight, we were up about 730 am. Go figure! We are so used to that with the kids. LOL Once we got our stuff packed we were on our way to pick up Kelly and head to the beach to check in. Once we go unpacked in our hotel we put on our bikinis and trunks and head out to the beach. We got the 190 Octanes, so good and hung out and walked around on the boardwalk. We stopped by our old partyin' grounds...Captn' Funs. Eh, it was ok.
Then when the evening came we headed back to shower and change and go meet up with some friends for a birthday. After a little while there we went to McGuires. OH MCGUIRES! It was soooo good. Matt and I LOVE their spinach and artichoke dip and I got my usual filet. Oh it was wonderfully delicious.
We met back up with our friends at the bar and hung there for a little while longer before heading home.
Saturday started off with a slight hangover. Haha. But Matt and I got up while Kelly laid in bed. Getting her up is like trying to wake up a dead elephant. hahaha So Matt and I put our swimsuits on and headed to the beach to start our day. We started off with a Bushwacker...so good then headed to Crabs for some lunch before the Blues performed. The airshow started about 1 and the Blues weren't going to perform until 2. We met up with my bf Alex for a little bit then got another 190 Octane. Low and Behold!!! Kelly texts me saying she's finally up. LOL So we met up with her then headed up to Matt's XO's house (He has a condo out on Pensacola beach. It was right next to our hotel.) We watched the Blues from their balcony because they flew RIGHT by it. It was awesome. My favorite part of the entire show is when they break the sound barrier flying by. LOVE IT! We hung out with the XO and his family for a little bit then left and got something to eat at Flounders then went back to the hotel to change to head to Funs and later on back to Flounders. I was able to see so many friends. I missed them all soo much and they were so excited to see me. I gave so many of them hugs and kisses. We partied into the night and had so much fun and soooooo many funny pictures. I love looking back and being like "What were we doing?!" LOL Those are the best and the funniest. Hence some of the following...

Sunday morning we got up, Matt and I, and went fishing with his XO for a little bit before we checked out then afterward we went back to Milton and relaxed and rested and re-hydrated the rest of the day. Well slept is more like it. Haha It was a great weekend and I am so glad Matt and I got to spend some time together doing what we wanted whenever we wanted. I was so happy to be home in familiar surroundings with good friends. I am off to watch the first Transformers. LOL I'm bored. Matt and I can't wait to see the third one. Probably will wait though and buy it On Demand.
I will try and get on tomorrow to write and pictures of Blake. He is getting so big. I am having to put him in 6 month clothing and he's only 3 months. Geez. Anyway, have a good "Hump day" night.

BYE
Matt and I are spending the day getting the house together and packing for our trip to Pensacola tomorrow. We are so ecstatic about it. His parents are on their way to take care of the kids. We are so grateful for the number of times they make it down this way to see the grandkids. We appreciate everything they do. Surprisingly, I did not go shopping for new outfits for this trip...a little saddened by this, but oh well. We'll be in our bathing suits most of the time anyway.
Of course, we plan on going to La Ha and the Shang and this time we are going to McGuires! (Restaurants) We are so excited about that. McGuire's spinach dip is A-MAZING!!!! Plus we can't wait to sip on some Irish Wakes. Let the good times roll!!!
OOOooo, we finally bought a regular small camera so we will have many pictures when we get back! Ok, I am off to finish our chores. See ya when we get back!
