Any Day Now...

So I am waiting on my Bayleigh video to finish processing on Youtube. It took 2 and a half hours to load and finished at 7:30 this evening. Now is says it's still processing. UGH! My Koda video didn't take this long. UGH! I am getting so impatient. It's so cute and funny.

We were total bums today. Didn't really get anything done and spent the day inside. B went on a wagon ride this afternoon, but that was about it. It was cloudy and cool today. Pretty blah. Nothing new to write about.

As soon as the video finishes I will have it up. It may be tonight, it may be in the morning. WHO KNOWS!!!

Our Saturday

We had fun today. Daddy came home from duty to find mommy still in bed and Miss B bouncing up and down in her crib. (I didn't know she was awake otherwise I would have gotten her.) Sometimes she won't make a sound for a good hour before she's ready to get out. (Which is nice for Mommy and Daddy considering that she'll let us sleep in until 8:30 or 9 sometimes) Needless to say, Miss B needed some gel or hairspray this morning. Haha

Look at my little stinker. I just love that smile

Eating Frosted Flakes with Daddy this morning. Usually she and I will sit on the couch in the mornings together and eat our cereal. :) Mommy and daughter time, b/c it's the only time she'll actually sit still on the couch with me. LoL

A little while later, Daddy went for his run (he ran almost 4 miles today along with Ace. Go Daddy and Ace!!!) while I TRIED to get Bayleigh to go down for a nap. Afterward, I went into my closet and did some damage with getting rid of old clothes and shoes that I don't wear anymore. I think I did pretty good, on the clothes part anyway. I still have two shoe organizers full of nothing but heels. I just love my heels, plus I still have my winter boots and shoes that are out right now. But I did good and removed a lot of stuff that I don't use anymore and organized my side. :) I'm giving the old stuff to Goodwill.

Since B did not take a nap, I fed her some lunch to give her a  nice, full belly then let her play for a little bit then put her down again to see if she would go to sleep this time. When she did fall asleep, Matt and I watched the movie Crimson Tide. (is it bad that while watching that today I just got the point of the title since the submarine was named the USS Alabama? Haha BLOND MOMENT!) When B woke up, we played with the dogs. Poor Gizmo had a "ruff" day.

Bayleigh tried to pick up Booger but he's gotten a little hefty lately.

We decided to head to the mall this evening to splurge just a little bit. First we stopped by Ulta Beauty b/c I wanted a specific kind of curling iron and walked out with that and some make-up. I am a sucker for make-up too. But this is really NICE make-up that isn't the cheapy Wal-Mart kind, which I have plenty of that, but would like to start slowly building my stash up to the good quality stuff. Then we headed over to the mall and Matt got some undies, tehe, and some vitamins that he's been wanting. That was our splurge for the day. We then treated ourselves to some Olive Garden for dinner. B was a hoot and was so good. As usual, getting all the attention. She ate so much too. Little oinker.

We are now at home and Bayleigh has had her bath and is CRAZY right now. She has been running around the house and jumping in her ball pit. I have clips of her today and last night that I'm going to post sometime tomorrow. There are several different FUNNY clips so I'm going to have to make a composite of all of them. I can't wait. They are hysterical and you constantly hear me or Matt and I laughing in the background. She is such a goof and takes everything in stride and with a smile.

We are going to go settle in now. Matt is putting B to bed and we are going to go watch a movie off Netflix. Have a good Saturday night.

Recently

So we bought this pit thing at Wal Mart the other night b/c she is wanting to climb in and around, up and over and on top of everything so we thought it would be a fun place for her to play around in. Needless to say, it takes up the entire office. LOL (By the way, please excuse my messy house. I told you I have been in a funk lately.)

Miss Impatient (Like her mom) just couldn't wait to get in and play with her new toy.

So I really had to brighten and sharpen these two pictures to show Miss B's hair with all the static from the bouncy pit. We just cracked up with her. TOO CUTE Check out those baby blues.

Daddy playing with her in her make-shift house for the time being. LOL I swear, he's as goofy as her and I think he thinks he's her age as well sometimes. It's so funny watching them play.
 I just love this picture.

NO, I did not dress her. Her father did. LOL It was really cold here a couple of days so underneath all the pink are her pj's as well. Oh well, at least she's warm. Haha

B and Ace ready to take on the backyard!

Headed out one night to get some barbecue.Love my scarf Dana! :)

B, with barbecue still on her face, having fun while we were waiting on daddy in the parking lot. Such a happy little girl. I've never seen a child smile more. It doesn't matter if she's sick or what, she is always happy.

 BUBBLES!!!!!!!

My Kelly came to visit! We just got back from eating at Texas Roadhouse and spending some time catching up. I miss you so much!
She wanted a belly shot. I am so ready to not be pregnant anymore and have my lil boy here!!!

Sunshine

Today was FINALLY sunny. I think that's why I have been in a funk/depressed lately. It's been rainy and cloudy and we've been couped up inside since before the weekend. Miss B has been wanting to go outside and it's just been too wet and dreary to do anything out there, which in turn makes her cranky which has the result of making me cranky b/c I want to be outside too. So everything just gets frustrating between us. Like mother, like daughter. Haha

It has been nice not to have to go to the barn, but I miss it a bunch. I miss Koda, but I know she'll be OK. So, you all will laugh...I already found another horse that I want. Hehe. I am naughty, I know. He's a buckskin and OH SO PRETTY with a good working cow horse bloodline. But he's a stallion and only 3 years old. Stallions are a lot to handle and him being 3 would be too much. But hey, I can always dream can't I? Then there is this gelding who is 6 with similar cow breeding and he's bay and thick and muscular. They are both for sale by the same facility near Dallas. It seems like a very reputable place. Geeez. I just laugh at myself. What do I get myself into sometimes?! Poor Matt, but he loves me. I asked already if we could about the bay, but he told me no. :(

I have been really good about going to the gym this week. Yesterday I went and swam, and this evening Rosie and I went and I ran 2 miles. I felt so good and worked up a nice sweat. After we finished our workout we went and swam...well actually the water was a little cool so we sat in the jacuzzi for a few minutes. Since I was already warm I just let my legs hang in since they were worked tonight and also b/c I didn't want to get my body temp up too much. Then we got in the pool, slowly. LOL It was kind of cold after being in the jacuzzi. We just stood and talked about life in general. Rosie is really becoming a close friend to talk to and I'm so glad she's here. It's nice to have someone really listen and be there and vise versa for her. It's nice to know that no matter how crazy life can get and distracted you can become, you can have your girl there for you to talk to even if it's just for an hour or so. Love you Rosie! :)

I'm sorry I haven't updated with pictures. Now that B is ALL OVER the place you can't really sit at the computer without her wanting you to come play or her doing something to get your attention; and then when she goes down, Matt's either going for a run or I'm going to the gym then we like to sit with each other and watch TV. I will try to do some pictures this weekend, but ya'll know how that can be with me. It's already late tonight, plus there are no pictures loaded on the computer of the recent ones I've taken. SORRY!

Well I am off to bed. It's supposed to rain tomorrow. What the heck. UGH! Hope ya'll have a good night! Sleep tight!

A Good Weekend

Let's start with Friday.

I got home from work and hung out with Miss B which is pretty awesome. Matt had duty until 8 in the morning on Saturday, which those duty days aren't bad. I like Friday duty days. :)

Saturday morning Miss B and I got up and ate our breakfast and waited for Daddy to get home. Once he got home we got ready to attend the memorial service for our friend's 3 month old baby, MacKenzie. We dropped B off at daycare and headed over to the church. It was a beautiful service and SO SAD. The preacher nailed everything that needed to be addressed on the head. He gave a wonderful, wonderful speech. He had been through the same thing and had lost a daughter himself. One of the things that he said stuck out to me. He had told them,

"No parent should have to go through this. Our children are supposed to bury us. But this is going to be hard and you will grieve and cry, but you will get through it. You will NEVER get over it, but you will get through it with the Lord Jesus Christ by your side, along with family and friends. She is not lost if you know where to turn and look to find her. You have lost a child, yes, but you WILL see her again when it's your time to go with our Lord above. HOWEVER, there is A LOT of living to do between that time."

Those were just a few things that touched Matt and I. It was so hard to watch the slide show of little MacKenzie from birth and with her parents. I just hate it. You always want to ask "why" and have answers. But we will never know why He decided it was MacKenzie's time. We just have to trust in Him and take our time to grieve and eventually go on living life. Charlie and Christy, the parents, seem to be doing as well as can be expected. I plan on making some trips over there in the future to see Christy. I hate, absolutely hate, that we live so close and never got together and I never got to meet that sweet precious baby. However, once kids come along, you just get so caught up with your own life. Especially the first couple of years. She is going to need a lot of friends and support the next few months, along with Charlie, and I plan on being there for her.

Mark 10:14
Let the children come to me and do not hinder them. It is to just such as these that the kingdom of God belongs.

On another, happier note. Today, I got up and went to the gym with Rosie this morning. I did 2 miles on the bike and ran, yes RAN, a mile and a half. I was really into it and wanted to go for another 20 min or so, but I don't really know how my body would take it so I stopped at a mile and a half. But ran the whole way. When I slowed to walk I wasn't even winded. Guess that soccer shape is still in there some where. :) I was going to swim afterward, but Rosie had to get back soon so while she sat in the sauna (can't wait to do that again) I went and took a shower there. I felt so refreshed and energized.

When I got home, Matt and Miss B and I went to eat lunch at Jason's Deli. Once we finished and arrived home, we put B down for a nap then I had to get ready to head out to the barn because I had a lady coming from Shreveport, LA to look at Koda to possibly buy. Well she, Koda, sold and is on her way to LA as we speak. It was bittersweet and I'm really sad to see her go, but I know she's going to a good home and will be worked to her potential. The lady was really impressed with how much work I had done and where Koda was at in her training for being with me for only 7 months. :) So now my Koda girl is gone and I don't know what to do with myself. I am sad, yet it's kind of a relief right now not to be worrying about what to do with her....ie sending her off to a trainer's. Don't worry though, I will still have my horse fixation taken care of. There are two horses out at the barn that I'd really like to work with. And what better way to practice and hone my training than working with as many horses as I can....groundwork anyway. I'll get to really use my Clinton Anderson Fundamentals dvd package now. :)

After Koda got on her way, I came home and Matt, B, and I went to Walmart to do our grocery shopping. Now I am waiting on Kelly b/c she is coming over and we are going out to eat. I have to admit, it will be nice to get out of the house with just me and my girl....ksquared. :) She can't wait to see Bayleigh either. Last time she saw her B was only 6 months old. Dang, basically a year ago...I just realized that.

So I am going to close for now and get ready. Pictures to come later. Miss B is running around with her big pink ball. OH! We also bought her a big, bouncy, blow up, ball pit thing and she loves it. It's hilarious. She'll get in it and Matt will pick up the side and bounce her around in it and she just laughs and laughs. Crazy girl. She's going to be a little daredevil...hmmm where did she get that from? And her brother...I swear it would be so nice if that boy would just sit still for 5 minutes. Hahaha. Little stinker. :)

Hope you all have a good rest of the weekend. I have to work tomorrow. Bleh. I'll try and get on tomorrow and post pictures since now I don't have to go out to the barn anymore. *tear*

Why God, Why...?

Today is a VERY VERY sad day. We just found out this morning that some friends of ours that are also stationed here have lost their 3 1/2 month old baby yesterday evening. I don't understand these things or why they happen. But that constant "Why God, WHY?" is going over and over in my head. Really, I am just speechless. What do you say in this time of need or what do you do? You feel so helpless and I hate that feeling and I can't stop tearing up over this. I love you both. Know that we are here. I just want to ask all of you to please keep my friends in your thoughts and prayers and uplift them in this time of grief and sorrow.

Mother's Song

I've lost my baby daughter,
Though not misplaced.
I feel she's somewhere
Bound by neither time nor space.
Perhaps she sits before the Throne
With radiant face.
She could be dancing happily
Like little girls do
With golden taps beneath
Each precious little shoe.
I know she must love music,
So I'm sure it's true.
I'm grateful that in Heaven
She is healthy and strong
And that she's lulled to sleep each night
By Heaven's song,
But I wish I could hold her;
Is that terribly wrong?
I sang so often to her
While she was with me
And I will go on listening
For her harmony.
How sweet to know
I'll hear it In eternity.

Don't Tell Me

Please don't tell me you know how I feel,
Unless you have lost your child too,
Please don't tell me my broken heart will heal,
Because that is just not true,
Please don't tell me my daughter is in a better place,
Though it is true, I want her here with me,
Don't tell me someday I'll hear her voice, see her face,
Beyond today I cannot see,
Don't tell me it is time to move on,
Because I cannot,
Don't tell me to face the fact she is gone,
Because denial is something I can't stop,
Don't tell me to be thankful for the time I had,
Because I wanted more,
Don't tell me when I am my old self you will be glad,
I'll never be as I was before,
What you can tell me is you will be here for me,
That you will listen when I talk of my child,
You can share with me my precious memories,
You can even cry with me for a while,
And please don't hesitate to say her name,
Because it is something I long to hear everyday,
Friend please realize that I can never be the same,
But if you stand by me, you may like the new person I become someday.

A HUGE CONGRATS!!

To Rachel and Drake. They are pregnant! She skyped me earlier today and told me..and we're skyping again now LOL, but I've had to keep my excitement pented up until she gave me the OK. I don't know why the Lord waited this long, but in the end, it was perfect. I freaked out and couldn't believe it. I still can't. AND we are both preggo at the same time!!!! We have dreamt of this moment since we were kids in high school and all the things we would do together while pregnant. Looks like I might have to make a trip to see her just to be able to do some of the things that we always talked about while be pregnant.

CONGRATS LaLa and Drake! Love you both!!!!

Thank you Rosie

So I have to say a HUGE thanks to Rosie for getting back into the gym. Just the two days that I've gone I feel so much better. We started on Thursday which was the perfect timing b/c I was pissed about an issue so I was like I should so go. I walked 2 miles, then we went to the gym again yesterday. But before that and after work, I went and worked Koda and rode. Nothing hard, but still, you use a lot of muscles when riding. Then after that I came home, grabbed a burrito Matt made, played with Miss B for a little bit then headed off to get Rosie to head to the gym. I started on the treadmill and walked 1/2 a mile then ran the other half. I was so proud of myself. I honestly could have gone a whole mile or more running (I'm one of those people that when I get going and am really into my music I can run forever, no matter how long it's been since I've ran), but being 6 months along now I didn't want to push anything. I want to ease back into it safely. However, if I wasn't I would have pushed myself for 3 miles, then suffered the after effects of it today.

After I finished the treadmill I went to the bike and did a mile on that. The treadmills are right in front of the bikes and Rosie came to run on there after she did the stair stepper. As I'm sitting there pedaling, I keep staring at Rosie and thinking, "Ugh, b****." But it a good, friends-type of way. LOL I love her. Rosie has had two kids and is around a size 0 or 2. We were preggo together last year and after she had Kyle 8 weeks after I had Bayleigh, she didn't even have to exercise for a whole month before she was down to a size 4. WHAT THE HECK?! Haha. But it's ok. I plan on doing a lot of cardio and getting my butt skinny pretty quick after B2. Then I'll concentrate on toning. Lots of people have told me I look skinnier this pregnancy than when I did with B, and it's because I haven't been going to the gym. I did a lot of weights when I was with B b/c I love being strong and toned, but didn't really do much cardio. So this time around I'm going to do cardio and lose the weight first, then tone up.

Anyway, I feel so good and happier now. I just needed that push from someone to get back into it. I'm going to try to get into some yoga classes and maybe some spin classes too while there. I've always wanted to get into that, but don't know why I don't. Matt and I will have to discuss our schedules to work out.

Well, I will blog more later. Gonna go play with Miss B in her make-shift playhouse. LOL It's the box that my saddle came in so we are putting it to good use until Grandma and Grandpa can bring the one she got for Christmas, because it's HUGE. Matt is about to take Ace for a run to. Blog-ya-later!
